After the autonomous vehicle tragedy in Tempe in March 2018, Uber’s advanced technology group (ATG) launched a top-to-bottom review of the self-driving program with a focus on safety. After several months of review and research, we worked closely with the ATG team in Pittsburgh to produce a film announcing their return to the road and autonomous testing.
